UK Steel Enterprise is pleased to announce the appointment of regional executive, Scott Webb to its team in Scotland.
Scott has joined UKSE after a stint as the loan fund officer at West of Scotland Loan Fund, where he was in charge of lending activities and reviewing business plans across 12 local authorities. Prior to this, he worked at North Ayrshire Council’s economic development department and the Clydesdale Bank.
At UKSE, Scott will work closely with area manager Anne Clyde to extend the company’s activities in Scotland.
He will be involved in sourcing candidates for UKSE’s loan fund and investments, as well as managing the day-to-day operation of Grovewood Business Centre in Strathclyde Business Park.
Anne Clyde said: “This appointment is a significant boost for the company and Scott’s track record, talent and experience will be a key factor in continuing UKSE’s good work.”
